E1&3 Symbolic Fusion
In 2019, Doutor Paulo Ramalho approached me to assist with the branding identity for his new art gallery at Vale Pisão Nature Resort. Symbolism held significant allure for him, particularly the number 13—a coincidence that mirrored a lifelong affinity of mine. In my personal narrative, 13 marks the full birth date of my son Marcos, born on 13.04.2013. Following hours of brainstorming, we settled on the name "Espaço 13" for the gallery, capturing the essence of this exquisite art destination in Santo Tirso, Portugal.
The logo was meticulously crafted to intertwine the characters "E", "1", and "3". It visually evokes the traditional frame of an art canvas while creating the illusion of a window—offering viewers a glimpse into a realm where the finest Portuguese art can be explored and appreciated.
